“ First off I wanna say 10/10!! Absolutely no doubt. Fire AF. It was mine and my bfs first time trying African food and fufu mind you we came from out of town and the cashier was very helpful and recommended the palm butter and we were both blown away on how delicious it was! Definitely recommend! We will be going back. ”
“ Dined here about 4 times, and I’ve always been so happy each time. So much flavor. The first time I came here was last year, and my friend showed me the ropes. Since then, I’ve brought my friends here. Every time, so many people take out. I always like to try new things but there are 3 things I always have to get. Fufu with whatever soup they have that day. Attieke with snapper. Chuck rice with chicken. Their full menu is not always available. They let you know what they have. I’ve tried their egusi, pepper, cassava, and goat soup. Every one at my table would have their favorite one, so I can’t recommend one more than the other. Egusi is probably the most unique though in terms of texture and flavor. Fufu comes out HOT so be warned. We let it cool down a bit and it’s a lil less sticky and more manageable. Every soup usually has different types of meats and lots of bones (like turkey neck), so be careful there too. Chuck rice with chicken. The sauce is amazing and the chicken is fried so well that it stays crispy under all the sauce! I definitely have some fufu with the chicken here too. Snapper with attieke and plantains. Attieke is as unique to me as fufu is. And it has so much flavoooor. Snapper is a whole fish, fried to perfection. This comes with a mayo salad sauce type thing. There three entrees are usually more than enough for a group of 4. With a water bottle (they don’t do cups of water, I think), it adds up to be about 25-30 a person. And we usually have enough to take home for one more meal. If you want, I also recommend their ginger juice. STRONG ginger flavor. It warms you right up. I imagine it’s great for my stomach after all the palm oil and spices. Other tips: They got a hand washing station for hygienic fufu eating! ”
“ Amazing! I've been looking for a good place to try fufu for a while now and came across this restaurant due to a TikTok. And it is amazing. Stop reading this and go try it! We got the popular dishes: fufu (of course), Palm Butter soup, Egusi soup, and Jollof rice, with a side of plan rice. Everything was SO so so flavorful and delicious. Whatever spices are being used blend so beautifully together and make for a taste explosion. Definitely a bit spicy, but a flavorful spicy. The fufu with palm butter, oooooh my gosh. The jollof rice! mmmmmmm the chicken that came with the jollof rice was so crisp and delicious. We are absolutely going to be back to this restaurant and I would encourage everyone to go try it. The owners/staff are so nice too. Amazing all around :) Oh and for the portion sizes, this can easily feed 4-6 people. ”
“ Visiting Phoenix, heard about this place from TikTok. I got the Snapper. That Snapper 10/10, it didn’t stand a chance. I also ordered some Jollof rice & chicken, & goat soup with fufu to go, I know it’s going to taste amazing. Update: I ate the Jollof Rice and Chicken, delicious. I would buy that again. This is my 2nd time having Jollof rice, this one tastes way better. I never had fufu before, so I had to get use to the bland taste. I ate it with the goat soup. It was okay. Fufu maybe not for me, but goat soup yes. Definitely recommend this place. ”
“ Food was great have never had fufu before, I tried the palm butter the texture was great and the meat was very flavorful as long as the soup extremely flavorful all around and great atmosphere. Amazing place try it! ”
“ This was my first time having fufu. It paired so well with the cassava soup. Nothing short of amazing. Shout out to the woman chef!! ”
“ My first time trying African food was amazing! I had the jollof rice, fufu, and egusi soup, and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff was so welcoming and took the time to explain the dishes, which made the experience even better. I can’t wait to come back and try more! ”
